Recipe: Corn Bread


3/4 cup flour
1-1/4 cups stone ground cornmeal
2-1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
3 Tbsp. melted butter
1 cup milk


Preheat oven to 425º. Grease a 9 x 9 inch pan and place in the oven to preheat. Mix the dry ingredients together. Mix the egg, butter and milk together. Pour liquid ingredients into dry ingredients and combine quickly. Pour batter into hot pan. Bake 20-25 minutes.
