Recipe: Pizza Crust

Ingredients:

1-1/3 cups warm water
1 package dry yeast
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. salt
1 cup whole wheat flour
about 3 cups all purpose white flour

Instructions:

Dissolve the yeast in the warm water and let stand for five minutes. Add the olive oil and salt. Stir in the whole wheat flour, then add the white flour 1/2 cup at a time until you have a stiff dough. Turn out onto a floured cloth and knead for 10 minutes. Put dough in an oiled bowl and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 2 hours. Punch down dough and pat and stretch it to line an oiled cookie sheet or two round pizza pans. Bake for 10 minutes in a 400° oven. Remove from oven and add toppings. Reduce heat to 350° and bake until crust is lightly browned and toppings are bubbly, 10-15 minutes.
