3 strips teriyaki tofu or veggie bacon, cooked crisp
1 small, ripe tomato, sliced thinly
2 leaves of nice crisp lettuce
2 slices fresh whole wheat toast
Salt to taste
Spread mayo on both sides of nice, hot, crisp toast. Layer tomatoes on one side of bread and salt lightly if desired. Top with lettuce. Top other slice of toast with bacon. Carefully defy gravity and put slices together. This sandwich tastes better if cut on the diagonal.
Un-BLT’s are excellent with the addition of thinly sliced avocado, red onion and/or sprouts.
