Recipe: Beef Hamburgers


1/3 lb. ground beef per person
(garlic granules)


Heat a heavy cast iron skillet over medium heat.. Form beef into flat, round patties no more than 1/2 inch thick. Sprinkle pan with garlic granules. Drop patties into hot pan. Leave them alone for 7 minutes. (I mean it – don’t poke them or anything.) Turn patties. Leave alone for an additional 6 minutes. If using cheese, lower heat and place sliced cheese on top of burger. Let cook until cheese melts.
