Recipe: Fruit Salsa


1 basket of strawberries*
1 ripe avocado*
1/2 of a big melon*
1 red bell pepper
1 little red onion
1 clove of garlic
the juice from one lime
a little bit of salt
*or any other fruit you like – peaches, plums and apricots are all nice



First, wash everything except the onion. Remove skins, seeds or any other inedible bits. Cut everything into small pieces, all about the size of your little fingernail. Mix all the pieces together in a bowl. Pour on the lime juice. Put the garlic in a garlic press and squeeze it into the bowl. If you like it hot, you can add 1/2 of a jalapeno pepper, chopped very fine. Salt lightly, if at all – most chips are plenty salty.
