Recipe: Other Julie’s Oven Sweet Potato Fries


1 large sweet potatoes, peeled
and cut into 1/4-inch-thick sticks
1 Tbs. oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
1 Tbsp. potato starch


Heat the oven to 450°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. Toss together sweet potatoes, oil, salt, pepper, and paprika, if using. Sprinkle with potato starch; toss mixture once more to coat well. Arrange in one layer on prepared baking sheets. Bake 10 minutes. Turn potatoes and rotate baking sheets. Bake 12 minutes more, or until golden brown.
