The Davis Food Co-op is open every day except December 25.

Attention Drivers: contractors for the City are currently upgrading components under the intersection of Sixth and G Streets. The intersection is open, but bike and car traffic is often being directed around obstacles. We are open, and are assured that at least two of our driveways will be open at all times this week (after which the project should be complete).

Later in September (on three days, t.b.a.) we will be closing a third of our parking lot for re-striping. Each third should be able to re-open after 24 hours. We'll post more details when they become available, and the project may have to wait due to circumstances beyond our control.

The Davis Food Co-op is a full-service grocery store owned and operated by nearly 10,000 local households. The Co-op exists to serve our members, and they've indicated they're often interested in shopping on holidays. Consequently, we're open on major holidays except Christmas (so far, there hasn't been much demand) including through early afternoon on Thanksgiving. We usually close early on Independence Day, on New Year's Eve, and we open for the afternoon on New Year's Day.

There may be other occasional late openings or early closings (although they're rare). We'll announce any deviations from 7 AM to 10 PM hours on our web pages.
