Round Up

Loose change really adds up! Round Up at the Register is another way your co-op is supporting our local community. Next time you check out, say “I’d like to round up,” and we’ll turn that change into a sturdy check for the non-profit of the month. You can donate more if you like, just tell the cashier to round up to your preferred amount.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness Yolo County provides advocacy, support, education, and public awareness so that all individuals and families who are affected by mental illness can build better lives. They envision a stigma-free future where all people affected by mental health conditions experience resiliency and recovery with safe, affordable housing, meaningful activities, supportive relationships, and hope.⁠⁠

Yolo County Meals on Wheels

Our June Round-Up at the Register recipient is Meals on Wheels Yolo County. This organization was chosen by our Owners in the recent Vote for Change portion of our annual Elections!⁠ ⁠

Meals on Wheels Yolo County has been providing a daily hot meal to seniors in our region for over 40 years. Each day they prepare 350-400 hot lunches and deliver them to sites in Woodland, West Sacramento, Winters, and Davis. They also serve lunch at four senior centers in the region each day.

Kitchen Table Advisors

Kitchen Table Advisors fuels the economic viability of sustainable small farms and ranches through practical business advising and trusted relationships. They support regenerative small farms and ranches across Northern California, including 10 farms in Yolo and Solano Counties, and prioritize supporting women farmers and farmers of color. The Round Up funds will empower KTA to provide tailored business and financial services to our client farms and ranches.
