Recipe: Lime-Chili Pita


4 pita, preferably whole wheat
2 Tbsp. lime juice
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. kosher salt
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. ground coriander


Preheat oven to 350°. Separate pita into halves. Mix together lime juice and oil and pour into a pie plate or similar container. Mix together salt and spices and place in a shaker bottle or small bowl. Line cookie sheets with foil or silicon liners.

Dip smooth side of each pita half in lime-oil mixture. Place pita on cutting board and sprinkle lightly with spice mixture. Cut cross-hatch into nine pieces. Place pieces, spice side up, on cookie sheet. Repeat with remaining pita.

Bake at 350° until crispy and golden, 8-10 minutes.
