Recipe: Slow Teriyaki Tofu


1 package firm silken tofu
Teriyaki Sauce


Slice tofu lengthwise as thinly as possible – about 25 slices to a block is great. Spread out in a single layer on a foil lined cookie sheet, brush lightly with teriyaki sauce and bake 45 minutes in a very slow oven -- 250°. Turn slices, being careful not to tear them, and brush other side with sauce. Bake until chewy, another 30 minutes.
