Secrets of Umami
Calling all foodie scientists: this class all about the secrets of umami is for you! Discover how umami flavors hit our tongue and how you can combine ingredients (called flavor potentiators) to amp up umami flavors in your dishes. Students will make a few examples of “umami bomb” recipes. This class will use dairy and fish.
