Pie Dough 101

Win at the holidays this year by mastering pie dough! We will learn all the techniques to make super flakey pie crust every time and troubleshoot common problems. We will also talk about how to make crusts ahead of time and together we will make a batch of hand pies you can enjoy right away or freeze for later.

This is a live virtual class. However, a recording of the live class will be sent to all participants. This is a great option for folks who want to take the class, but cannot attend live. Please allow us 1-3 days to get this sent out. A materials and ingredients list will be emailed to you after you register.

Two hours before class you will receive an email with the recipe. Please read over prior to the start of class.

Instructor: Laura Doyle

Laura Doyle is a cooking instructor who has been teaching classes through the Davis Food Co-op, the Peregrine School and privately for over 10 years. She teaches kids and adults basic culinary techniques, as well as baking bread and pastry, all while focusing on using local and seasonal produce instead of processed foods.
