Teaching Kitchen classes are back in action! We are making our classes virtual through Zoom so that you can learn these recipes from the comfort of your own home. The best part is that we are offering the first three classes in this format for free!

Pickled veggies are a great addition to any meal! Learn how to make crunchy, tangy pickled veggies in under an hour. Three different types of quick pickling will be covered, all that’s needed is a small-medium stock pot and a mason jar! 

If you plan to follow along at home, you will need the following:

Pickled Onions:

1 cup water

1 cup vinegar 

2 tbsp sugar 

2 tsp salt 

1 medium red onion 

½ tsp red chili flakes 


Carrot & Jalapeno Escabeche:

2 cups vinegar 

1 tbsp salt 

½ tbsp sugar 

1 large carrot 

2 jalapenos 

1 small white onion

2 tbsp olive oil

2-3 cloves garlic

½ tsp dried oregano

¼ tsp dried thyme


Pickled Cucumbers:

1 cup water

1 cup vinegar 

2 tbsp sugar 

2 tsp salt 

2 medium cucumbers

1 tsp coriander seeds

1 tsp fennel seeds

1 tsp mustard seeds
