Kids Can Cook Series: The Science of Eggs, Bread & Dairy

We will explore the chemistry of coagulation, have fun with foams, learn what gluten is and how it makes bread rise, and see how shaking, freezing and cooking dairy changes the way it looks, tastes and feels in our mouths. Each day we will explore one ingredient and make a number of delicious treats that demonstrate all the cool ways that cooking changes ingredients. A fun summer activity for your budding chef/scientist!

Hands-on class for kids ages 7-12.

This class meets from 10:30am to 12:30pm on Tuesday, August 8, Wednesday, August 9 and Thursday, August 10. Parental attendance is not required.
