We will cook a whole chicken in two different, heavily flavored broths and then use the cooking liquid in the masa. We will then shred our chicken, chat about this glorious tradition, and learn to wrap tamales, which you’ll take home to cook or freeze. Tamales are a delicious Christmas Eve tradition in Mexico, and preparing them in community can be a delightful pre-Christmas event. You’ll leave confident and ready to continue this traditional practice with your friends or family each year!
