Hi, the co-op has had veggie pepper blend in the bulk spices as long as I can remember. It’s no longer in the newly renovated spice section. I like the new spice section, but there are actually several things not present anymore. Hoping it’ll come back! Thanks!

Unfortunately, this item in our bulk department was not selling as much as we would have liked to see. We strive to provide the freshest items possible at our refill station, and if an item is not selling, we can not guarantee freshness through rotation. If you have a recommendation of another, packaged and shelf stable veggie pepper, please let us know and we can consider bringing it in!

Hello,
I am new to the area and was hoping you could bring in the best tofu & tempeh I have ever had in all my 30 years of being vegetarian. I promise you, this is no ordinary tofu & tempeh. It ticks all the boxes as far as being certified organic, gluten free, kosher, etc. & it’s higher in protein than most which is crucial for folks that eat if for their main source of protein. Their marinated baked tofu’s are incredible!! Their Soy & 5 Grain Tempeh is also outstanding. If you’re able to order SoyBoy Smoked Tofu specifically, I would be very grateful! Please have the new automated food orderer a) reflect what’s actually available on the day, so we don’t have to bother the staff asking whether it is (it usually isn’t); b) not be a site for disease transmission? (should be disinfected multiple times during day, certainly twice)

I will address a schedule for the kiosk to be wiped down by our staff, and 2 times out of the day we update the kiosk with the products we have in stock and the ones we are out of we take off the screen for an option. We are scheduled to have a category reset on our dairy aisle in September, so we will consider bringing in new products at that time.

Bulk pumpkin pie spice & penne pasta- both are missing now
I’m bummed about the huge decrease in your bulk spice offerings. maybe they didnt sell. I dont see pumpkin pie spice and containers are so small so several staples are empty. Ex. basil and oregano

I can reassure you, though, that pumpkin spice will make a return in the department on a seasonal basis. And, in the time since you provided this request, we have reimplemented basil and oregano.

What happened to our nice bulk aisle! Many jars replaced by a few gadgety distributors. So many ingredients I would buy are not even there anymore! The Co-op was a pioneer of bulk but now I will have to go to Nugget instead

It looks very nice but I’m very sad about the bulk section remodel. Bulk is a primary reason I so at the coop and the remodel seems to have reduced the selection of items in bulk. If you had to reduce bulk items I can’t imagine why you kept all the candy at the expense of brand fir exampel. I’m especially disappointed by the spices. I used to love looking at all the divergent spices and trying small amounts of new ones before buying a lot. There seem to be very few spices now and some of them are too high for short people. I hope you can find a easy to bring back a greater selection. Had I known so many things were disappearing I would have stocked up.

Good morning,
For years I have been buying Laird UNSWEETENED creamer at the Co-op. A few months back Laird updated their packaging (& package sizing) as well as the names of some of their flavored versions of the creamer. Since then, I have only seen the “Sweet and Creamy” version on the shelf (no tag or empty space that would indicate that the Unsweetened variety is just out of stock. After not finding it several weeks in a row, I finally asked someone in the dairy dept and was told that it was no longer available. Thinking that it was no longer being produced, I went to Nugget, where I have seen it before and bought all of the Unsweetened variety that they had in stock! However, they have continued to have it and Laird says that they are definitely still making the Unsweetened variety, so why did the Co-op stop carrying it all of a sudden and why was I given incorrect information about it being discontinued? More importantly, can you please start to carry it again? I would prefer to continue shopping weekly at the Co-op, but have already started alternating weeks with Nugget. Thanks for your response.

Called and spoke to. Clarified that it was disco’d from our distributor. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get it from anywhere else. I told her if she had any other product requests, to let us know.

The new bulk area is horrid! Im 5’1 and cannot reach/use top row of spices-plus dispenser is very hard to regulate. Please tell me you can fix both issues. I need more spices, not less.

We always seem to be out of:

you always carry Effy’s biscuits which are super good but the pecan always sells out and you do not re-order till everything is sold so you’re always out of pecan you need to double or triple the order for pecan!! you’ve been out of the pecan for weeks and those other two are not gonna sell very fast thanks
