You're Invited!

Our next Block Party is on Saturday, May 2nd from 4-7 pm. We couldn’t do what we do without the community’s support. To say thank you for more than 54 incredible years, we will be hosting everyone at one of our largest events, free to the community.

Plus food from local vendors, games, local artisan market, and community besties repping amazing local organizations!

As a special thank you, Co-op Members get the VIP treatment with free food and drink tickets for the first hour of the party! Plus the first 50 Members to check in get to spin the prize wheel!

Enter the SALSA SPAR | Community Salsa Competition at the Block Party

Do you have an AMAZING salsa recipe? Enter it! You could win an awesome mini grill + Co-op gift card, plus we’ll feature your recipe as our Recipe of the Week and you get bragging rights for about a million years.

Here’s how to enter:

1. Make an incredible salsa (be sure to write down your recipe!)

2. Deliver approx. 32 oz. prepared and completely chilled salsa to the Davis Food Co-op (620 G Street in Downtown Davis) between 3:30 and 4 pm on Saturday, May 2nd. When you enter, we’ll ask you to write down all of the ingredients you used to display during tasting.

3. People taste and vote from 4-5 at the Block Party.

4. We calculate the votes and announce the winner at 6:30 pm on the stage!

Bring yourself or come with friends! Your chill dog is welcome too. Dancing shoes are technically optional, but highly encouraged.
