Baked Pizza Dip

Difficulty:

This Baked Pizza Dip combines creamy, melty cheeses, rich pizza sauce, juicy tomatoes, and fresh basil into one irresistible appetizer. Warm, bubbly, and easy to make, it’s a crowd-pleasing dip perfect for parties, game days, or casual gatherings with toasted baguette slices or crackers.

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, ½ cup mozzarella, and ½ cup pepper jack. Spread this mixture evenly into a 9 inch pie pan, or another similar sized oven safe dish of your choice.

Pour the pizza sauce on top of the cheese layer and spread evenly.

Place tomato halves cut-side down into the dish. Scatter half of the basil leaves around the tomatoes.

Sprinkle the remainder of the mozzarella and pepper jack over top the dish.

Bake for about 35 minutes, or until the top is bubbling and golden. Check on the dip a couple of times to make sure it doesn’t burn.

Immediately after removing from the oven, sprinkle the grated parmesan and remaining basil on top.

Serve with toasted baguette slices or crackers. Enjoy!
