Corn Salad with Chile and Lime
Cold Brew Julip Mocktail
10 mint leaves
½ ounce simple syrup*
3 ounces cold brew coffee
a few dashes lavender bitters (available at the Co-op)
Muddle half the mint leaves in the bottom of a rocks glass.
Stir simple syrup and cold brew over crushed ice.
Garnish with remaining mint sprigs.
Add lavender bitters.
*To make a simple syrup combine equal parts sugar and water in a small pot. Heat over medium-low until the sugar has completely dissolved. If adding herbs for flavor, steep in sugar syrup for thirty minutes after turning off heat, then remove solids.
