Improved Cornbread

Cornbread, but better! This recipe yields soft, fluffy, and sweet cornbread. You only need 30 minutes to make this recipe.

1 cup cornmeal

1 cup whole wheat flour

¼ cup brown sugar

1 Tbsp. baking powder

½ tsp. salt

1 cup sour cream

¼ cup milk

2 eggs

¼ cup vegetable oil

Grease an 8×8 pan. Heat oven to 425°. In a large bowl, mix together
the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. In a cup, mix together sour cream, milk, eggs and oil. Pour the wet mixture into the dry and stir until just combined. Bake 20 minutes.

Allow to cool completely before cutting. Serve with butter and honey.
