One Bowl Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

If you have a mixing bowl and a few very ripe bananas, you can make this recipe!

3 very ripe bananas

1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 cup sugar

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour

1/2 cup chocolate chips, plus more for topping

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.

In a mixing bowl, mash bananas until mostly smooth. Stir in butter. Add sugar, egg, vanilla, baking soda, salt, and flour. Whisk until smooth. Pour into the prepared loaf pan. Top with an absurd amount of chocolate chips. 

Bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
