Staff Recipe: Hawaiian Garlic Shrimp

Difficulty:

Recipe by Ron, Center Store Specialist

1. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and place them in a bowl. Add the flour, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper, then toss until evenly coated.

2. In a large skillet, melt the butter with the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, just until fragrant. Add the shrimp in a single layer and sear for 2 minutes, until the bottoms turn pink. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes, or until the shrimp are just cooked through.

3. Remove from heat and stir in the soy sauce, pineapple juice, and lemon juice. Toss to coat, then fold in the sliced green onions and parsley.

4. Spoon the shrimp onto plates, drizzle with the garlic butter sauce from the pan, and garnish with extra green onions. Serve and enjoy!
